Holy New Year Everybody! E. K. Green and the Shiatsu Kush

High Everybody!

  New Year New Treats

It has been a great start to the New Year. We are back with a new strain from a new dispensary. Today's post is on Shiatsu Kush from E. K. Green in Spokane Valley. Stop in and see my man Austin at 21 S. Thierman Rd. Suite C.Spokane Valley.

E.K. Green is nicely located in a small business strip across the street from Starbucks Coffee. The location is pretty much dead-center between downtown and the eastern side of the Valley. While the parking is slightly limited, I have never had any issues finding a spot right at the door. The parking lot is paved but patients needing wheelchair accessibility should know it will be a little tight if the lot has several cars in it. I might recommend stopping in a little later in the day, after the other business are closed if accessibility is an issue.

Once inside, the service is one at a time so you will be able to ask any questions that you might have about the many products they serve while in a one-one environment. A full list of the current stock is available here. The waiting room is very comfortable with ample amounts of space should you need to wait a few moments before going back to see the tender. One great nugget of customer service here is that they will include extra flowers for you should you need to use the ATM. A nice little treat and a great way to make up for the fee charged at the ATM which is $3.00. At the time of my visit I was happy to learn that soon E. K. Green will be stocking High Class Concentrates although my visit today is for flowers, I will be back to try the new concentrates.

My tender and I share many aspects and symptoms of two different Gastrointestinal diseases and I was introduced to this lovely Shiatsu Kush strain.

Shiatsu Kush-
Shiatsu Kush comes from the island of Amami Oshima, a powerful hybrid strain brought from Japan reportedly by BC Bud Depot. Bred for its potent relief of pain, tension, and stress. Shiatsu Kush induces a heavy relaxation that calms the mind and body but is not overwhelming.

My notes:
Strain – Shiatsu Kush – Jan 2015
Grower – E.K. Green Recommendation for Gastrointestinal Issues.
Look – Beautiful purples, greens and dark oranges, if you can see them through the crystals.

Oder – The smell is amazingly sweet, like what citrus cotton candy would smell like. There is also a slight flowery note, like a lavender or a light perfume though it is certainly not overly pungent.

First Hit – Very tasty and sweet. I bit stronger on the citrus side than the sweet candy side of the spectrum. The flavor is lovely and smooth. I noticed a lightly sweet and earthy note on the back end which is very pleasant.

The High – Very refreshing and uplifting with an equal balance of soothing mind and body sensations ranging from mild to fairly strong depending on dosing.

Stoniness – On a scale from 1 to 10 I would put this strain right in the middle at 5. The overall feeling is invigorating and will allow you to focus your energies where they need be with just one or two hits.

Body High – I felt very relaxed and was able to feel some relief from the sore neck I have had for the last few days.

Mind High – Again the feeling is very relaxing but also keeps you alert and able to focus and let creative or other problem solving skills flow, leaving those ready to accomplish the day or just the task at hand readily able to do so.

Anxiety Reduction & Pain Relief (different types of pain?) This strain is helpful for mild to moderate muscle soreness, headaches, and mild joint pain. For anxiety and stress, small doses of Shiatsu Kush can be perfect for daily needs as well as continues use. Because Shiatsu will not leave you completely incapacitated those patients needing slightly higher doses to even much higher doses (a full joint or maybe a bowl or two) you will still be able to attack the day!

Final Note: Both E. K. Green and the Shiatsu Kush are excellent choices for both a primary provider and medication. I HIGHLY recommend a visit. You will feel very comfortable and will receive world class service from each and every member of the staff.

Happy Medicating!
